Where your tasks are saved

By default, your tasks, views, conversations, memory, and preferences are saved in the browser you are using. They may not appear if you switch browsers or devices, use a private window, or clear the site’s data.

Use Settings → Data to export a workspace backup. Keep a recent backup if the information matters to you.

When you use the Secretary

To respond, the Secretary sends your message and the parts of your task list, conversation, and memory needed for that request to OpenAI. A photo is sent only when you choose to attach it so the Secretary can turn it into tasks.

Only use the Secretary with information you are comfortable sending for AI processing.

If you sign in

Account storage may be available when you sign in. Sync is still experimental, so keep a workspace backup and do not rely on it as your only copy.

Analytics

tasklist.chat does not currently use third-party analytics. Your task contents are not sent to an analytics service.
